Irene M. Hutchins, MD, is a well-versed hematologist/oncologist who diagnoses and treats patients at Desert Care Network’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in Palm Springs and La Quinta, CA. She joined the center in 2018 and focuses her practice on benign and malignant hematological disorders, including leukemia, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Furthermore, Dr. Hutchins serves as Subspecialty Teaching Faculty member, Transfusion Committee Member, and Cancer Committee Member at Desert Regional Medical Center (2019-present). As a hematologist-oncologist, she has dedicated training and unique experience in diagnosing and treating blood diseases and blood cancers. Dr. Irene M. Hutchins has been honored with the Woman of the Year Award in 2018 by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society based on her philanthropic work in support of blood cancer research.
